The Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide reconstructive care in critical care, trauma, and burn treatment settings. The role involves inpatient and outpatient patient management, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and supporting surgical interventions. Candidates must be willing to travel and participate in staff education to support the continuum of burn and reconstructive care across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the reconstructive care of patients.
  • Manage patients in inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a team-based environment.
  • Perform patient history and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies to provide diagnoses.
  • Perform medical treatments and diagnostic procedures.
  • Conduct minor surgical procedures and assist during surgeries as required.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans, including preoperative and postoperative care.
