OhioHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant with a background in oncology, hospice, or palliative care to join a dedicated interdisciplinary team. The role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with no weekend or call responsibilities, and provides support for balancing professional and personal goals. The PA will contribute to an established and growing oncology program within a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care to oncology, hospice, or palliative patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient encounters using electronic medical records and electronic prescribing systems.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage patient follow-up and coordinate care transitions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to oncology and palliative care.
• Support the mission of improving community health through compassionate patient care.

Compensation

• Value-based compensation model.
• W-2 employment status.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Day shift hours with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current PA license in Ohio.
• Experience in oncology, hospice, or palliative care preferred.
• Prior PA clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and electronic prescribing systems.
