This full-time position offers a balanced schedule with no nights or call, providing opportunities to work on a variety of cases across multiple specialties within a collaborative MD/AA care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support for a wide range of surgical and medical procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure appropriate utilization of healthcare resources.
• Work effectively within a team environment supporting hospital system initiatives.
• Maintain all required licensing, certifications, and clinical hours as per program standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Support patient safety and comfort during anesthesia care.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Completion of an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) program
• Certification by the NCCAA
• Indiana State licensure
• Strong communication skills
• Respectful bedside manner
• No experience necessary if all licensing, certifications, and clinical hours are completed in the post-baccalaureate program
• Ability to work well within a team
