The Sarasota Arthritis Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for patients with rheumatic diseases, including arthritis, lupus, and autoimmune disorders. The role involves patient evaluation, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations, to diagnose rheumatic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and blood work.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
• Educate patients and families about rheumatic diseases, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with rheumatologists and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.

Requirements
