The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner provides direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in surgical services, including trauma, emergency general surgery, bariatrics, colorectal, plastics, and surgical breast oncology.   • Provide psychosocial support to patients, families, and significant others in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of clinical encounters in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Engage in professional development activities, serve as a clinical resource, and participate in quality improvement and research projects.
