Located in downtown Oklahoma City, this hospital-based anesthesiology position offers a balanced lifestyle with a focus on outpatient procedures, including endoscopy and vascular cases. The role involves working with a laid-back team of anesthesiologists and anesthetic assistants, providing outpatient anesthesia services in a multi-state hospital system.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient procedures including endoscopy and vascular cases.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and anesthetic assistants.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care.
• Manage anesthesia documentation and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality patient care.
• Work primarily during daytime hours with no call responsibilities.

Compensation

• $230,000 to $250,000 W-2 salary

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with anesthesia certification.
• Current medical license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain one.
• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
• Experience with outpatient anesthesia procedures preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• No call required, with a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
