CareNow Urgent Care in Denver, CO is seeking board-certified Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to provide urgent care services. The role involves seeing patients aged three months and older, managing acute illnesses and injuries, and performing procedures such as suturing and I&D. The position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive clinical environment within a leading outpatient care network.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients aged three months and older presenting with acute illnesses or injuries.
• Perform procedures including suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), and other urgent care treatments.
• Interpret and perform first reads on x-rays as needed.
• Manage a variety of pediatric and adult urgent care cases efficiently.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatments.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain compliance with state licensure requirements.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development activities.

Compensation

• $68 - $77 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
• W-2 employment with malpractice insurance coverage provided through HCA's insurance subsidiary.

Requirements
