Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking Physicians and experienced Advanced Practice Professionals to join its Hospital Medicine team. The roles involve both day and night shifts, with opportunities for teaching and direct patient care at a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital in Boston and community hospitals in Milton, Needham, and Plymouth. A faculty appointment may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist services including direct patient care at multiple hospital sites.
• Participate in teaching activities for medical students or residents, if applicable.
• Cover day and night shifts on a variable schedule.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in professional development and hospital medicine initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Compensation

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid medical license.
