Responsibilities

• Provide medical coverage for obstetrics, spine, orthopedics, GI, and infrequent cardiology and pediatrics cases.
• Manage patient care in a hospital setting with low pediatric volume and no neuro cases.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare providers as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation using Cerner EMR and paper records.
• Respond to patient needs within the scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Stay current with required certifications and licensing requirements.
• Participate in hospital quality and safety initiatives as required.
