Core Clinical Partners is seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Hospitalist program at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. The roles include day, swing, and nocturnist shifts within a well-established, supportive team environment. The position offers flexible scheduling options across various shifts, with opportunities for experienced clinicians and new graduates alike.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient clinical care to hospital patients across various shifts (day, swing, nocturnist).
• Perform patient rounding and assessments during assigned shifts.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and subspecialty teams to coordinate patient care.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges as per hospital protocols.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and order entry.
• Respond to ICU and CCU patient needs in a Level III trauma center setting.
• Participate in hospital quality and safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (specific amount not provided).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule with shifts including 12-hour day, swing, and night shifts.
• Shift options include 7a-7p, 7a-5p, 8a-6p, and 5p-5a.
• Typical rotation includes 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with some flexibility for 4-5 shift blocks.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including day, swing, and nocturnist schedules.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Experience or comfort working in a hospitalist setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced inpatient environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner preferred.
• Licensure and credentials in Ohio or ability to obtain licensure.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Willingness to work in a Level III trauma center with subspecialty support.
