Inspire Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the Trauma and Acute Care Surgical Division at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. The PA will manage trauma and surgical patients across all levels of care, including trauma bay, surgical floor, and ICU, participating in initial assessments, stabilization, and daily rounds. The role offers a collaborative environment within a Level 1 Trauma Center affiliated with UCSF Fresno, with opportunities for professional development and procedural practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage trauma and acute care surgical patients across all levels of care, including trauma bay, surgical floor, and ICU.
• Perform initial assessment and stabilization of trauma patients.
• Conduct daily rounds on admitted patients.
• Perform procedures such as tube thoracostomy, central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement, and wound management.
• Participate in trauma team activities and collaborative patient care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality trauma care.

Compensation

• $135,000 annual salary
• Relocation support provided
• CME allowance of $1,500 annually

Requirements

• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) with NCCPA credentialing.
• Current CA state license or eligibility for licensure.
• ATLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience or training in trauma and acute care surgical settings preferred.
• Ability to perform procedures such as chest tube placement and vascular access.
• Strong assessment, stabilization, and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule with no call obligations.
