The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) will join the surgical services team at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role involves managing a variety of surgical patients, including trauma, orthopedics, vascular, and acute care surgery, through evaluation, treatment, and intraoperative assistance.   • Coordinate patient care throughout hospital stays, ensuring appropriate management and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital protocols and quality improvement initiatives related to surgical care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and procedures.
