This is a contract position for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with IP training, specializing in adult and geriatric cardiovascular surgery. The role involves performing vein harvesting and chest tube placements, managing post-operative follow-up, and participating in a surgical practice setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weeknight and weekend call, and the position offers comprehensive benefits and support for licensing, malpractice, housing, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform vein harvesting and chest tube placements.
• Manage adult and geriatric cardiovascular surgery patients post-operatively.
• Conduct post-operative follow-up care.
• Participate in a surgical practice with 4-8 cases per week.
• Work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm.
• Handle rotating 1:3 weeknight and weekend call schedule.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.

Compensation

• Hourly rate from $100.00 to $125.00, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
