Mile Bluff Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Urgent Care team. The role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population across all ages, with shifts typically lasting 12 hours and including weekend rotations. The position offers a collaborative work environment in a modern facility within a rural community setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to pediatric through geriatric patients.
• Perform suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), and pelvic examinations.
• Manage a diverse range of acute medical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver patient care.
• Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation.
• Participate in weekend rotations and work 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
• Contribute to a team-focused, patient-centered care environment.
• Maintain required certifications and stay current with clinical best practices.

Requirements

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and either TNNC or ATLS.
• American residency-trained provider.
• Skilled in suturing, I&D, and pelvic exams.
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in weekend rotations.
• Must not require J1 visa sponsorship.
• Strong clinical skills and teamwork orientation.
