Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant for our Silver Spring, MD office. The role involves providing OB/GYN outpatient care, including gynecological exams, management of low-risk obstetric patients, and addressing GYN issues within a diverse patient population. The PA will work alongside a team of physicians in a busy, established practice dedicated to women's health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform annual gynecological exams and manage GYN problems and procedures.
• See low-risk obstetric patients and provide appropriate care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
• Maintain knowledge of current OB/GYN practices and guidelines.
• Work with a diverse patient population, including Spanish-speaking patients.

Compensation

• Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience.
• Compensation is provided via W-2 employment.

Requirements

• Valid Physician Assistant license.
• At least one year of experience seeing OB and GYN patients in an outpatient setting.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Knowledge of NextGen EHR system is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
