Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or FNP) to provide integrated medical and psychiatric care at our facility in Seminole, FL. The role involves conducting assessments, managing treatment plans, supervising medication administration, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals recovering from substance use and mental health disorders. This per-diem position reports to the Medical Director and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and psychiatric evaluations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver integrated medical and psychiatric care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to policies and guidelines.
• Provide primary care services addressing general health and addiction-related needs.
• Supervise and instruct patients in self-administered medications, including injections, and provide health education.
• Review lab results, provide treatment, and refer to specialists as needed.
• Manage therapies such as pharmacotherapy per protocols approved by the Medical Director.
• Report findings, oversee infection control procedures, and communicate with families regarding patient care.
