We are seeking a part-time Anesthesiologist Assistant to join our outpatient facility in the Detroit area. This permanent 1099 position offers a flexible schedule with minimal hours, providing a balanced work-life environment without call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in perioperative patient care within an outpatient setting.
• Provide anesthesia support during procedures as directed by supervising anesthesiologists.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and post-anesthesia care as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Compensation

• $120 per hour
• Minimum daily compensation of $900, maximum of $1,000 per day
• 1099 independent contractor status

Shift & Schedule

• Part-time schedule, 2 days per week, 9 am to 3 pm
• Work hours total 6 hours per week
• No call, nights, weekends, or holidays

Requirements

• Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and patient monitoring.

• Experience in outpatient anesthesia is preferred but not required.
