MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking a Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider to join its Critical Care Medicine team. The role involves providing primary coverage in a 23-bed mixed IMC/ICU setting within a community hospital environment, with a focus on critical care. Responsibilities

• Provide primary coverage for patients in a 23-bed mixed IMC/ICU setting during night shifts.
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients in the ICU environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform procedures and interventions as required in critical care settings.
• Ensure documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in patient handoffs and communication to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the ICU.

Compensation

• Salary range of $125,000 to $180,000 based on experience and qualifications.
• Additional income opportunity through CME allowance.
• W-2 employment tax status.

Requirements

• Current Advanced Practice Provider (APP) licensure in Maryland or eligible for licensure.
• Critical care experience strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of ICU procedures and protocols.
