Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to oversee infusion services in our ambulatory infusion centers in Montgomery, AL. The provider will supervise infusion procedures, assist with adverse reactions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. The role involves working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday coverage, supporting both clinical and administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infusion procedures administered in the ambulatory infusion center.
• Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Participate in developing policies, procedures, and protocols related to infusion therapy.
• Perform nursing functions as needed to support clinical operations.
• Travel to other infusion centers as required for staffing coverage.
• Maintain current knowledge of infusion therapies and emerging treatments.
• Support patient advocacy and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with an active FNP license in the practice state.
• Experience in a family medicine setting with knowledge of chronic disease management and therapies.
• BLS certification (or obtained upon hire).
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a changing, high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to perform nursing functions as needed.
• Ability to travel to multiple infusion centers as required.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and confidentiality.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
