Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Nuvance Health and affiliated with Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join a collaborative OB/GYN team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role involves providing full-scope midwifery care, including clinic duties and 24-hour call coverage, supporting a busy labor and delivery unit with approximately 2,800 births annually. Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care in outpatient clinic settings.
• Participate in 24/7 midwifery coverage alongside physicians, including one 24-hour call shift per week.
• Collaborate with a team of midwives and OB/GYN physicians to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Support labor and delivery processes, including management of normal and high-risk pregnancies.
• Contribute to patient education and shared decision-making processes.
• Work across multiple practice locations in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and Highland.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with neonatologists, surgeons, and other specialists.
• Maintain clinical competence and pursue ongoing professional development.

Compensation

• $120,000 - $155,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Shift & Schedule
