This Physician Assistant role involves providing perioperative care under the supervision of experienced surgeons at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. The position offers first assist experience across multiple surgical specialties through a structured training program, with a focus on developing skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative elective and emergent care to surgical patients under surgeon supervision.
• Gain direct First Assist experience in the operating room across multiple services and subspecialties.
• Participate in a stepwise training program with mentorship and increasing responsibilities.
• Assist in surgeries across various specialties including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Bariatric, Thoracic, Colo-Rectal, Orthopedics, Hand, ENT, Neurosurgery, Plastics, Urology, and Vascular.
• Work Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
• Assist in the operating room with limited call requirements.
• Work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Compensation

• $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually

Requirements

• Physician Assistant certification or license.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
