The Department of Anesthesiology at Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking four full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join our pediatric anesthesia team. This role involves providing anesthesia care for a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures in a dedicated children's hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support for pediatric surgical cases including neurosurgery, ENT, GI, and congenital cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe anesthesia care.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as part of the anesthesia team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient records.
• Respond to intraoperative and emergency situations as needed.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the anesthesia program.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation with potential sign-on bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• 40-hour work week with flexible shifts.
• Variable schedule days and hours.
• Call responsibilities required, with some call shifts.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited AA program.
• Valid certification from the NCCAA.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule with variable shifts and call responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior pediatric anesthesia experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Willingness to participate in program development and growth.
