Physician Anesthesia Services is seeking anesthesiologists to join their team in Denver, Colorado. The role involves providing anesthesia coverage across multiple hospital and outpatient surgery centers, with a focus on patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, gynecology, plastics, robotics, cardiac, bariatrics, endoscopy, and obstetrics (optional).
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians, CRNAs, and AAs in a blended practice model.
  • Participate in anesthesia coverage at hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in the Denver Metro area.
  • Manage anesthesia procedures in both scheduled and emergent settings.
  • Adhere to patient safety protocols and ensure high-quality clinical care.
  • Work flexible shifts, including 10- and 12-hour shifts, with potential for overtime and stipends for call, night, and weekend duties.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.

Compensation

  • Base salary range of $235,000 to $250,000, depending on experience.
  • Sign-on bonus of $35,000 with a 2-year commitment (up to $10,000 can be used for relocation assistance).
  • Potential for additional income through call, night, weekend stipends, and overtime.
  • Compensation is provided via W-2 employment with tax withholdings.
  • Additional income opportunities include profit sharing and CME allowances.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology.
  • Current medical license to practice in Colorado.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in call coverage.
  • Experience in a hospital or outpatient anesthesia setting preferred.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills.
