The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical services at the Franklin County Crisis Care Center, including assessment, medication management, recovery planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The role involves working overnight shifts as needed in a crisis setting, with a focus on mental health and substance use recovery support.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment, medication management, and referrals based on individual needs.
• Coordinate with external medical and nursing support services, including pharmacy and labs.
• Supervise or deliver nursing and medical care in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure proper clinical documentation.
• Conduct assessments, differential diagnoses, and discharge planning.
• Utilize Recovery Coaching to foster recovery partnerships and environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve recovery outcomes and care efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Hourly wage between $84.00 and $87.00, based on experience and qualifications.
• W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule, primarily overnight shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.
• Work hours total approximately 12 hours per shift.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution with training as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Current and valid state-specific RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses; PMHNP certification required.
• DEA registration and appropriate psychiatric care certification (PMHNP).
• Experience in acute psychiatric settings and addiction treatment preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, documentation, and problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with strong listening skills.
• Ability to pass de-escalation training and understand involuntary commitment procedures.
• Must meet all credentialing requirements, including background checks and drug testing.
• Must be at least 18 years old (or age specified by state regulations), with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the position.
