NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking a certified anesthesia assistant (AA) to join our team at Hughston Surgical Center of Valdosta in Georgia. The role involves supporting orthopedic anesthesia cases in a collegial, patient-focused environment, with opportunities for professional growth, flexible scheduling, and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers in delivering anesthesia care for orthopedic cases.
• Support the anesthesia team during surgical procedures at Hughston Surgical Center.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia staff to ensure efficient case flow.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Support anesthesia team in preoperative and postoperative patient care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Compensation

• $190,000 annual salary
• Sign-on bonus of $20,000 (full-time, 2-year commitment)
• W-2 employment status

Requirements

• Certified anesthesia assistant (AA) credential or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, orthopedic-focused surgical environment.
