A locum tenens family medicine/urgent care physician position offering a 34-hour weekly schedule from Sunday through Wednesday. The role involves seeing an average of 2-3 patients per hour in a combined urgent care and family medicine walk-in clinic, serving patients across all ages. The provider will utilize an Apple/Mac-based EMR system, perform procedures such as suturing, blocks, splinting, and minor removals, and receive comprehensive support including credentialing, licensing, malpractice coverage, and housing arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care and family medicine services to patients of all ages in a walk-in clinic setting.
- Manage an average patient volume of 2-3 patients per hour.
- Perform procedures including suturing, nerve blocks, splinting, and minor removals.
- Utilize an Apple/Mac-based EMR system for in-clinic charting.
- Adhere to a scheduled workweek from Sunday through Wednesday, totaling 34 hours.
- Participate in a two-week training period with a dedicated trainer.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with clinic protocols and procedures.
Compensation
- Hourly rate ranging from $70.00 to $90.00, based on experience and qualifications.
