The Women's Hospital of Texas in Houston is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for night shifts. The role involves providing anesthesia services primarily for obstetric cases, with additional responsibilities in gynecologic, general, outpatient, and pediatric procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.
• Induce, maintain, and emerge from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed during anesthesia care.
• Manage anesthesia for obstetric cases, including epidurals and C-sections.
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a care team model.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Compensation

• Annual salary of $265,365 (W-2).

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
• Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Experience in obstetric anesthesia preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-anesthesia assessments and clinical interventions.
