A full-time OB/GYN physician is sought to join a well-established, community-based practice at a regional medical center located 70 miles east of Nashville. The role involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care within a collaborative team environment, with a focus on work-life balance, and includes opportunities for professional growth and leadership. The practice features a remodeled clinic on hospital campus, a supportive staff, and modern facilities, serving a large catchment area across 14 counties.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in a busy community hospital setting.
  • Participate in a 1:5 call schedule, alternating weekdays and every fifth weekend, primarily handled by phone.
  • Perform outpatient procedures including endometrial biopsies, IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, and hysteroscopies.
  • Collaborate with nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver comprehensive women's health services.
  • Manage high-risk deliveries and coordinate care with hospital specialists, including neonatology and anesthesia.
  • Contribute to patient education, wellness visits, and annual exams in a newly remodeled clinic.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and professional development activities.
  • Support hospital and community outreach initiatives as needed.

Compensation

  • Competitive fixed salary with annual bonus potential.

  • MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Experience with outpatient procedures and high-risk obstetrics preferred.
