Tidelands Health is seeking a board-certified Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience to join our team at our hospitals in Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, South Carolina. The role involves providing emergency care within a collaborative, non-profit health system that values professional growth and patient impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume ER setting with approximately 60,000 visits annually.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians and other advanced practice providers to deliver quality patient care.
• Manage a diverse caseload across multiple ER bays in a full-service, non-trauma emergency department.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in clinical decision-making and treatment planning for acute conditions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and standards of care.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Compensation

• Salary paid via W-2 tax model.

• Full-time position.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant, licensed to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience as a PA.
• Board certification in emergency medicine or equivalent specialty.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting.
