This is a part-time or contract Nurse Practitioner position providing general medical evaluations to US military veterans. The role offers flexible scheduling, with clinicians able to choose their own days and hours, typically working up to three days per week. Responsibilities

• Perform general medical evaluations for veterans in a clinical setting.
• Conduct evaluations that typically last 30 to 90 minutes per veteran.
• Complete one-time encounters with no ongoing treatment requirements.
• Maintain documentation of evaluations in the employer's EMR system.
• Adhere to scheduling preferences, working up to three days per week with no administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with the employer's back-office team for administrative and billing processes.
• Participate in clinical onboarding and ongoing support provided by the employer's clinical team.
• Ensure evaluations are for general medical purposes, not disability assessments.

Compensation

• Up to $150 per hour, paid for each evaluation conducted.
• Remittance within 45 days of encounter documentation.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Unrestricted state medical licensure with full scope of practice.
• Graduation from a US-accredited post-baccalaureate (Masters) program.
• Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or AANP.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate primary care experience.
• Access to a clinical location for conducting evaluations.
• Established collaborating physician.
• Ability to perform in-person general medical evaluations.
• Comfort working independently with minimal administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent clinical support and communication skills.
• Willingness to work part-time or full-time as an independent contractor.
