The role involves providing medical dermatology care, performing surgical procedures (optional based on interest), and managing high patient volumes in a state-of-the-art clinic. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical dermatology care to patients, accounting for approximately 80% of practice volume.
- Perform surgical dermatology procedures, including biopsies and excisions, if surgically competent and desired, comprising up to 20% of duties.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and the practice team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on dermatologic conditions, treatments, and preventative care.
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute to clinic growth and patient satisfaction.
- Manage high patient volumes efficiently, seeing approximately 40 patients daily with potential to increase to 55.
- Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
Compensation
- Initial guaranteed salary, transitioning to a percentage of collections model.
- Current PAs earn $200,000+ annually based on productivity.
- Compensation is tax-advantaged under a 1099 arrangement.

Requirements

- Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
