The role involves reviewing medical histories, conducting evaluations, and coordinating consultations to determine applicant eligibility for military service. Responsibilities

• Review military service applicant medical histories, test results, and documents to assess compliance with medical standards.
• Secure and record thorough health histories from applicants.
• Arrange (but not perform) medical consultations across various specialties including orthopedics, psychiatry, ENT, dermatology, internal medicine, and dental.
• Perform records review, consultation reviews, and results assessments.
• Apply DoD, USMEPCOM, and other applicable regulations and policies.
• Determine applicant medical qualifications based on accession standards.
• Ensure applicant dignity and confidentiality throughout the process.
• Complete work within scheduled hours and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (National League of Nursing).
• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited program by ANPCP or ANCC.

• Minimum of two years of post-graduate direct patient care experience within the last three years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross, with recertification every two years.
• Proficiency in accessing and updating electronic medical records and responding to email communications.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures across multiple medical specialties.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete required training for medical documentation systems.
