Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.

Counsel patients on drug regimens, side effects, and interactions with other substances.
Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, especially in vulnerable populations.
Diagnose or treat acute health problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
Educate patients on self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to individual circumstances.
Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as CBCs, EKGs, and radiographs.
