Serenity AG, in partnership with an innovative mental health practice in Beverly Hills, California, is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Associate / Physician Assistant (PA-C) specializing in Interventional Psychiatry. The role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, supervising esketamine (Spravato) treatments, and providing comprehensive mental health care for patients with treatment-resistant depression. The position offers flexible scheduling and is available on a part-time or full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of patients with behavioral health challenges.
• Supervise all aspects and staff involved in Spravato (esketamine) treatments, with training provided.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new treatments and interventions.
• Foster positive therapeutic relationships with patients, providing emotional support and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and HIPAA requirements in psychiatric care.
• Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing patient care and demonstrating organizational skills.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies (MS or MPA) from an accredited program.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Active California Physician Assistant license.
• DEA license.
• BLS/ACLS Certification.
• Prior experience managing psychiatric patients, treatments, and medications.
• Ability to function independently in an outpatient psychiatric setting.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Experience in administering ketamine or Spravato treatments is highly desirable but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
