Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia, is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join a full-time anesthesia team. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia services in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center with a focus on patient safety and care excellence. Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge from anesthesia
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed during anesthesia care
• Collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a care team model
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities

Compensation

• $200,000 to $240,000 annual salary
• Sign-on bonus or incentives up to $50,000, including loan repayment options
• W-2 employment with tax withholding

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 8-hour daytime shifts
• Limited call schedule with one weekend and one holiday on-call per year

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Compliance with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and patient assessment skills
• Experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred
• Commitment to patient safety and care quality
• Licensure or certification as required by state and professional standards
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Limited call schedule with one weekend and one holiday on-call annually
• Professional licensure in good standing
