We are seeking 1-2 Certified Anesthesia Assistants (CAAs) or Instructors for a new program featuring a split shift model. The role involves approximately 60% academic responsibilities and 40% clinical practice at a partner hospital, with a start date targeted for January 2026. Responsibilities

• Conduct instructional sessions as part of the C-AA program during designated instructional days.
• Participate in clinical practice at a partner hospital on clinical days.
• Balance academic and clinical duties according to the program schedule.
• Engage with clinical partners to facilitate clinical training and supervision.
• Maintain professional standards in both instructional and clinical settings.
• Support program development and implementation as needed.
• Adapt to a variable schedule with both instructional and clinical shifts.
• Contribute to a positive work environment promoting work-life balance.

Compensation

• Salary and benefits are provided based on a 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent) appointment.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) or equivalent.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior clinical experience in anesthesia or related fields preferred.
