This position involves providing surgical coverage in a hospital setting, with the ability to cross credential at a surgery center. The role includes performing general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics procedures, with flexible shift options of 8 or 10 hours. Credentialing is expected within approximately 60 days, and the provider must be board-certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics procedures as required.
• Maintain credentialing at both hospital and surgery center facilities.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of care.
• Complete documentation accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Work variable shifts of 8 or 10 hours, including day and possibly evening hours.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and hospital staff to ensure patient safety.
• Meet credentialing requirements within approximately 60 days.
• Maintain board certification and stay current with medical licensure.

Compensation

• $20,000 completion bonus (paid after 13 weeks or 520 hours worked)
• Compensation model includes a sign-on bonus
• Tax status: 1099 independent contractor
