The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) will work under the supervision of attending anesthesiologists to administer anesthesia across various clinical settings. The role involves collaborating with the anesthesia team to develop care plans, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery. The CAA will contribute to patient safety and comfort, including providing care for pediatric patients, in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia under the supervision of attending anesthesiologists.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and bodily functions during procedures.
• Adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout surgeries or medical procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, residents, students, and surgical teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and manage potential complications during anesthesia administration.
• Provide compassionate care, including for pediatric patients and their families.
• Assist in preparing anesthetic agents and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of anesthesia care and patient responses.

Compensation

• Salary of $200,000 annually.
• Sign-on bonus of $20,000.
• Compensation paid via W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable work schedule.
• No on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
