The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a high-volume, teaching hospital setting at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix. The role involves managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, triaging pregnant patients, and collaborating with an integrated team of physicians and midwives to serve a diverse, underserved population. Responsibilities

• Provide care for routine and high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with hospitalist ob/gyn physicians.
• Triaging pregnant patients presenting with various complaints between 16 and 40+ weeks gestation.
• Rounding on postpartum patients in the hospital setting.
• Participate as part of an integrated team of physicians and midwives in a high-risk medical model.
• Deliver culturally sensitive, holistic care to a diverse patient population.
• Engage in patient education and counseling tailored to individual needs.
• Contribute to the hospital’s teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital and professional standards.

Compensation

Requirements

• Current certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM).
