The U.S. Army seeks Physician Assistants to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care to Soldiers and their families. The role involves performing a full spectrum of medical services within clinical privileges, advising on patient stabilization and transportation, and participating in ongoing training and education. Compensation

  • Value-based compensation model with additional income opportunities such as loan repayment and sign-on bonuses.

  • Board Certification Pay and Health Professions Officer Incentive Pay for fully qualified active-duty PAs.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university.

  • U.S. citizenship for active duty applicants; permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve applicants.
  • Foreign graduates must have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Must meet all military medical and physical standards.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to serve in a military setting and participate in ongoing training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to serving in a disciplined, structured environment.
