The Physician Assistant at Southern Medical Group provides comprehensive patient care within the scope of practice authorized by the Tennessee Board.   • Participate in team-based care, quality improvement activities, and organizational initiatives.

Compensation

  • Salary compensation model (W-2 tax status).
  • Full-time position with 80 hours per pay period.

Shift & Schedule

  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Day shift hours.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive medical histories and physicals, including dictation skills.
  • Competence in evaluating and initiating treatment for medical conditions.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex medical information to diverse populations.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Knowledge of clinical protocols and regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission.
  • Ability to manage multiple patient cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with documentation and charting requirements.
