Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of licensed anesthesiologists to implement anesthesia care plans.
• Operate, use, and interpret data from anesthesia and perioperative equipment.
• Provide anesthesia care and support patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Maintain clinical competency and perform regularly as an anesthetist in the facility.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and other disciplines.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention techniques.

Requirements

• Current active state licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant in Georgia.
• Master's degree in Anesthesia.
• Ability to perform clinically as an anesthetist regularly in the facility.
• Competency in clinical responsibilities and equipment use.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient needs across the lifespan.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.
• Compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Insurable by a medical malpractice insurer for required limits.
