A locum CRNA position is available at a small hospital in Southern New Mexico, approximately 90 miles from El Paso, TX. The role involves providing anesthesia coverage for various surgical specialties on a PRN basis, with potential for ongoing assignments starting in April or July.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties including ENT, OB, GYN, vascular, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, oral surgery, ENT, acute pain management, and trauma.
• Perform spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidurals proficiently.
• Obtain temporary privileges as needed to deliver anesthesia care.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and staff to ensure smooth perioperative processes.
• Manage anesthesia documentation and patient records accurately.
• Adjust anesthesia plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements.
• Provide coverage on a PRN basis with variable scheduling.
