We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic team at Sterling Regional Medical Center in Sterling, Colorado. The role involves providing orthopedic surgical care, including rounding on hospitalized patients, outpatient clinic evaluations, and surgical first assist duties. Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Physician Assistant.
  • Prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substances.
  • Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
  • 1-2 years of orthopedic or general surgical experience preferred; new graduates considered.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
  • ACNP with RNFA certification is required.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
