Accordia Health in Rockford, AL is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care services within a Federally Qualified Health Center. The provider will deliver medical evaluations, treatment, health maintenance, and coordinate patient care in a team-based environment, supporting underserved populations and participating in loan repayment programs through NHSC or Nurse Corps.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical evaluations and treatment for patients, including history taking, physical examinations, ordering tests, and prescribing medications.
• Manage continuity of care for patients with chronic conditions and make appropriate referrals for specialized care.
• Perform medical procedures within scope of privileges and conduct health maintenance visits, immunizations, and screenings (e.g., STD, family planning).
• Document all patient interactions accurately and comprehensively in medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians and seek clinical supervision or consultation as needed.
• Participate actively as a member of the medical team and contribute to quality improvement.
• Manage caseload efficiently to meet productivity standards and patient care needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
