The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) will provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal and postpartum management for complex pregnancies, at Providence Everett Medical Center and affiliated sites in the Puget Sound region. The role involves managing high-risk cases, conducting triage and routine visits, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. No labor and delivery management is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full obstetric care including prenatal and postpartum management for complex pregnancies.
  • Manage patients referred for hypertension, diabetes, medical complications, fetal anomalies, and other high-risk conditions.
  • Conduct triage visits, routine follow-up, wound care, and antenatal testing.
  • Cover satellite practices in Everett and Issaquah, ensuring continuity of care and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Ob/Gyn residency, OB fellowship, and OB hospitalists.
  • Participate in 1:5 weekend daytime inpatient rounding and lab duties.
  • Manage high-risk obstetric cases with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Interpret ultrasound reports and assist with prenatal diagnosis when applicable.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $125,000 to $155,000 (W-2).
  • Full-time employment classified as working 30 or more hours per week.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Active or in-process Washington State licensure with prescriptive authority.
  • Experience in high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, or critical OB care.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Interest in high-risk and complex obstetric care.
  • Experience with prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound interpretation is a plus.
  • APRN license with a focus on Women’s Health preferred.
  • Willingness to work variable schedule including weekend daytime shifts.
