Delphi Healthcare is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for full-time hospitalist roles in Upstate and Northern New York. These positions involve independent practice in hospital settings, managing high-acuity patients, and performing procedures as needed. The roles offer competitive compensation and various shift schedules, with opportunities for both day and night shifts depending on the location.

Responsibilities

• Manage hospitalized patients independently, including high-acuity cases.
• Perform procedures such as lines, codes, and other emergency interventions.
• Work collaboratively with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Handle a full spectrum of hospitalist duties, including patient assessments and documentation.
• Adapt to variable shift schedules, including day and night shifts as required.
• Provide coverage in hospital settings with minimal onsite physician supervision.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency response as needed.

Compensation

• $200,000 to $240,000 yearly salary
• W-2 employment model
• High hourly rate for the Carthage position

Shift & Schedule

• Variable shift timing, including day and night shifts
• 12-hour shifts with a 7 on/7 off schedule at Massena Hospital
• Flexible scheduling depending on the hospital location and needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hospitalist experience for the Carthage position; 2+ years preferred for Lewis County.
• Current licensure and certification to practice as an APP (NP or PA).
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital environment.
• Proficiency in procedures such as lines, codes, and emergency interventions.
• Comfort with managing complex and critically ill patients.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Experience in hospitalist or acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt to different hospital protocols and electronic medical records systems.
