RiverValley Behavioral Health Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Medical Provider to join the weekend on-call care team. The role involves providing pediatric assessments and medical oversight on weekends, primarily through on-site evaluations as needed. The position offers a flexible schedule and competitive compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric medical assessments, including histories and physicals, as needed on weekends.
• Provide medical oversight and consultation for pediatric patients at the Children's Hospital.
• Be available on-call to respond to weekend patient care needs requiring in-person evaluation.
• Collaborate with the hospital's multidisciplinary treatment team to support safe and effective care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal guidelines for pediatric medical care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of medical encounters.

Compensation

• Competitive weekend rate, commensurate with experience.
• W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• On-call weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays).
• On-site presence required only when patient assessments are needed.

Requirements

• Licensed MD, DO, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Kentucky.
• Pediatric or family medicine experience preferred.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to perform on-call weekend assessments and work on-site as needed.
