The position is for a Nurse Practitioner in ENT Specialty Services, responsible for managing acute minor and stable chronic illnesses through comprehensive assessment, diagnostics, prescribing medications, and providing treatments. The role involves independent practice with collaboration and consultation with physicians and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute minor and stable chronic illnesses in patients.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Order and implement interventions, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Utilize advanced health assessment, decision-making, and nursing skills.
• Work independently and collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Provide non-pharmacologic treatments and patient education.
• Maintain appropriate medical staff affiliation and adhere to behavioral standards.
• Utilize the nursing process as a framework for patient care management.

Compensation

• Hourly compensation of USD 8.00 per hour.
• W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Licensed as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• Certification as a nurse practitioner by an approved certifying organization.
• Advanced practice nurse prescriber certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• At least six months of prior RN experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to serve specific patient populations competently.
• Previous experience in an urgent care setting is desirable.
