An experienced Cardiology or Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is sought for a permanent position in a Texas community located 90 minutes east of Dallas. The role involves a combination of operating room first/second assist duties and patient rounding, with a rotating schedule that includes weekend shifts and a 1:3 phone call commitment. The provider will manage approximately 15-20 patients daily in a team of four providers supported by staff, serving a community of 105,000 residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgeries as first or second assist in the operating room
• Conduct patient rounding and follow-up care
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15-20 patients daily
• Participate in a rotating schedule that includes weekend shifts
• Respond to a 1:3 phone call schedule from home
• Collaborate with a team of four providers and support staff
